Call for papers
The Faculty’s call for the inaugural volume, published by Brill | Nijhoff, has closed. The special theme is The Tradition of International Law in Central and Eastern Europe.
The volume looks at those traditions from historical, doctrinal, comparative, and interdisciplinary perspectives, and at their continuing relevance to contemporary international and European law. The call welcomed original, unpublished work on the theme.
What the call asked for
At the proposal stage, the call asked only for:
- an abstract of approximately 300–600 words describing the proposed article;
- a statement that the proposed article is original and that a manuscript of it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
The call did not ask for the full manuscript at that stage. Authors whose proposals were selected were to draft in line with the Faculty’s submission guidelines.

Those dates have passed. The Faculty announcement named ryiel@e-uvt.ro. This site is not accepting new proposals for Volume 1.
